Creating an authentic vintage shoot on a budget is no easy task! When we decided to set the music video for If I Ain't Got You in the World War II era, everything became complicated.

In the end we had 13 costume changes (including three authentic uniforms), four actors, four locations, and one Model A. We fought wind and rain—I sincerely thought the dancing on the dock scene was ruined, because of all the rain in our faces. An overturned tanker on the freeway that kept both my soldier boyfriend and the soldier extras stuck in traffic, which delayed the shoot start by an hour and a half—all while we were chasing sunlight due to my school/rehearsal schedules.

In spite of it all, it came together. I'm so pleased with it and hope you love it! If you do, please share!

Here is our usual behind the scenes and blooper reel. There is a special (if unintended) shoutout to a Saturday's Warrior co-star and a little thug action. Hope you enjoy it!

Check out the sneaky Facebook live I was able to get in between classes and final dress rehearsal for BYU's Homecoming Spectacular.

Thanks for all your support!
