I've been an Echosmith fan since their first breakout song, Cool Kids, came out. When I heard Over My Head for the first time, I immediately wanted to create a music video.
Thanks to my music producer, Becky Willard of Vox Fox Studios, I was able to translate this song into my own style. Working with her is such a privilege.
Rather than my typical storyteller music video—with vocalizing mixed in with a b-roll story line—I decided to stress the vocals and film it in a simple, studio setting. I hope you enjoy my take on this cool vibe!
