I'm lucky enough to have a sister, Alana Jeffery, who is majoring in MDT at BYU. She is one of the directors of an MDT seminar performance of Pirates of Penzance and I've been allowed to be part of the cast.
In 2009, my sister, my mom, and I were cast in a production of HMS Pinafore, which is practically the same story. Later I performed as a sister in Pirates at Scera, so this is a fun revival of a great show for me.
We will perform our preview on September 25th with the final show on October 16th. It's a great opportunity to work with the BYU students and faculty!
